Default Crankcase Oil Temp

Just looking...asking an important questoon about my bikes oil temp.
*2015 FXDB (Street Bob)
*780 total miles on bike
*V&H Necked VO air intake installed
*Python 3" Mamba Exhaust installed
*H-D LCD electronic oil level and temp guage installed.
*91 degrees out side...
After a half hour of riding, my oil temp guage is reading at or around 228 degrees. Is this a normal reading or do I have a problem I need to have looked at?
All help will be great.

That is very normal. I regularly see north of 250*....You didn't mention any tuner/tuning above, what is the bike tuned with? Lean is hot and proper tuning will help with the temp some. Good synthetic oil will help with the oil temp as well...

Its tuned with the new V&H FP3.
Im running the map settings for
*Python 3" Mamba's (standard baffling )
*103 cubic inch with hi-efficiency air induction system.
*Auto-Tune is active but have not flashed the new active auto-tune map settings yet.
The bike runs super and is quick and responcive, more so than it was before my upgrades thats for sure. I would say if its doing anything, its a bit on the rich side.

Wait 'till after you're done with auto tune. Don't know why but bike always seems to run a lot different during auto tune verses after flashing your new map.

Why the question about the 228 degree oil temp? Are you thinking that's high or low? You need to remember that it's oil and not water.
