Default Lucas synthetic 50wt

Anyone used this? I was picking up some oil and came across the Lucas 50wt synthetic. Says it's for newer air cooled v twins. Post 84 motors. Any thoughts?

I wish I had found this stuff when I had my TwinCam, now I am wondering if I want to run it on my big bore...when it's 110 outside, I might like it.

I worry about scuffing at start up.

The thing u have to worry about is the pump cavitating with thick oils and colder temps. Then the pump self destructs, I think that's where all the scars come from on the pump gears and cam plate next to them.

I have yet to change my oil but I do have Lucas 50wt syn ready to go. It’s actually not much of a 50wt, it could be labeled as a 20w50, or 15w50
