Default Digital dipstick, reset from degrees C to F?

I have the digital oil level & temp dipstick. I know some folks have had trouble with them lasting more than a year or two. Mine's been very trouble free for almost seven years now. I recently changed out the onboard battery. Everything is working normally, however the display temp reset to display temps in degrees Celsius. I've lost my instruction manual and can't find instructions online. Can someone kindly tell me how to set the display back to degrees Fahrenheit?

I've gotten some feedback that one must "press & hold the button for 5 seconds" to reset back to degrees F. That may be true for the older model. I've tried it a couple of times with no change.

I just put one in Sunday press & hold the button down until it changes, it took longer than 5 seconds for mine. It will change while you are holding it down then release it.

Got it changed. Bob was correct... it took longer than 5 seconds. It is just a "be patient" press & hold.

You can probably find the instructions on the H-D website, just go to the Shop tab and find that dipstick. The instructions should be under the 'More Info' tab.
