The API SN spec only has max Phosphorus limits for the viscosities-

0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-20, 5W-30,10W-30

ISLAC GF5 only has max phosphorus limits for 0w, 5w and 10w mulit viscosity oils.
The min spec for other viscosities is 600ppm of phosphorus.

API SN, SN with Resource Conserving vs ILSAC GF-5
API SN Engine Oil Category

Default Schaeffer Oil

Reason I ask is I have 4 qts of 20W50 MC oil from Schaeffer and the bottle has the API "Donut" on it stating it is "SN" which is very odd for an MC oil to even have an API donut

Default UOA Mystik Semi 15/50 CJ4 - 2014 Road King

I chose this oil as it meets HD oil rating of CH4 or higher.
I was curious how it was doing, took a sample from my engine but didn't change it yet. Im pleasantly surprised.

Default 20W50 Schaeffer

Thats what I have on the shelf as well
It's probably good oil ! and to me it looks like it is.

But its way out of spec for an API "SN" oil
