Good question! It's supposed to be the latest and greatest from the MoCo so you should be fine. I'm not sure if I should use F+ or Syn3 yet. BTW, The Harley oil debate is older then the Arab/Israeli debate. KB

Formula + is excellent for the Primary. It's more of a clutch feel thing and does the job.

I put it in the primary of my Softail last fluid change. I could not tell that it was any better than the Mobil 1 V-twin 20W-50 I'd been running. I'll probably go back to Mobil 1 next change since that's what I run in the crankcase.

Dear Old,

If you run Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W50 in the crank and primary, what do you run in the tranny? At my next change, I might add Mobil 1 75W90 gear oil. Comments.

BTW -- my dealer may be leaning toward F+ in the primary and tranny.

I understand thet Formula + is simply straight 50w dino oil with and additive package and made by Citgo for HD. [sm=confused06.gif]
