Default 60 weight oil in twincam 88 non modified?

Had my 10K service done on my 05 88 Twin Cam by a non dealer Harley servicer.
&nbsp\\;
They replaced my oil with AMSOIL 60 WT Heavy Racing Oil.
&nbsp\\;
It seems to vibrate a little more before and the engine does not sound the same.
&nbsp\\;
Does anyone know if this will be a problem.&nbsp\\; I told them to change to AMSOIL synthetic but was under the impression that they would use standard weight 20-50.&nbsp\\; They told me when I came in to pick it up that 60 weight is better in hot weather like over 80 degrees.&nbsp\\; It's not over 80 all the time at least not in the morning.
&nbsp\\;
Does anyone have an opinion or know of any potential problems?

No Problems. 60 wt is normally used in Knuckle heads and Shovel Heads. 20W50 is the usual oil for twin cams. AMSOIL says you can use the 60 wt where it is recommended or desired. It is also wet clutch compatible. So ride it like you stole it and enjoy.

I would only use a 60w oil if you live in the South East or Southwest US where it is warm all the time. If you do run that oil when it's below 70 degrees let the bike idle for at least&nbsp\\;3-4 minutes before you drive off when cold starting.
