Default Jagg oil cooler + HD chrome voltage regulator cover?

2002 EG Classic with HD chrome voltage regulator cover.
Looking to install a Jagg 6 row horizontal low mount chrome cooler (part 1280) with the offset filter adaptor.

Can anyone tell me if the cooler will mount with the chrome regulator cover?
The HD oil cooler can not be used with the chrome cover.

thanks in advance,
Dale

Jagg couldn't give me a definitive answer as covers vary.

Ordered and picked up the 10 row low mount and the oil filter adaptor, later today I need to do an oil change and will be putting these on, will update whether it works.

Be smart and get rid of the chrome cover. Your voltage regulator shouldnt have anything over it that will promote heat and corrosion. This is a sensitive part on your bike.

The 10 row Jagg low mount cooler fits well and works nicely with the cover. The only thing to do different is before you mount the cooler on the studs, attach the hoses and clamps to the cooler first. I mounted the cooler first and the hoses are a snug fit between the chrome cover standoff studs and the frame and with my fat fingers the biggest chore was working the hose ends down over the cooler fittings. Not much room there for big hands.
