Default Redline 42804 in primary/trans

Please bear with me if this has been answered before. With the primary/trans shared fluid in a Sportster, and a clunk when shifting the transmission, can I use Redline V-Twin transmission oil with shockproof for this fluid?

No. Not good for the clutch. Way too much moly in the shockproof gear oil for a wet clutch application. I would use a 20w50 Motorcycle rated oil like HD Syn3 or Mobil1Vtwin 20w50 or HD Formula +. Some guys use Mobil175w90 with no ill reports. But the shockproof oils are way too thick and have additives that might cause clutch issues. The clunk is normal.
