Hello, I have a 2009 Ultra Classic with 8200 miles on her. I last had the oil changed at 7000 miles. Once the change was made and rode it home I checked and the oil was at the correct level on the stick. Yesterday while riding noticed low pressure and engine louder than normal. Again checked the oil barely on the stick. Added to qts of Amsoil 20-50 and the level was still below the top portion of the stick. Bet I could have added at least 1/4 more to get at proper level. Dropped off at dealer today any idea's I am not engine savey?

 

should have used spell check. Added 2 qts of oil and still low on stick. Have not had any prior oil issues also no leaks

 

1. Check the primary to see if it is leaking into there.
2. Start the bike at night in the dark dead cold and shine a flashlight on the exhaust to see if it is smokey blue gray which could indicate leaking valve guide seals.
3. Check exhaust baffle outlet tips for oily residue
