Default Trans. and chaincase lub. changing intervals

How many miles does one need to put on before changing these lubes. Do these need to be changed every year what ever the mileage. Ken

I like to do an oil change with filter at 100 miles then change it at a regular interval like 3-5K with filter. I always over service the fluids because it's cheap insurance.
The trans can go longer because there is no byproducts of combustion but use a gear oil and not an engine oil. The primary oil I like to do with the engine oil changes.
Once a season for all oils if you don't ride a lot and do it before the winter lay up if you have one so it's stored with fresh oils.

Default read your manual

Your owners manual outlines all the required service and intervals.

What bike? If it is aTC then you can go 5000 on the primary and 10-20,000 on the trans if you use gear oil.
