Default 883L Sportster Oil Cap

Has anyone figured out a way to stop the oil cap from getting popped up on the 883L Sportster? Replacement/ Alternative cap? Tape? Thanks guys!

Mine never popped. You may have a bad cap or a venting issue causing it to build pressure in the system and pop the cap or simply too much oil in the bike.

The problem is that it is a push-in and release to open and repeat to close (then the cap stays down. I don't know the official name of it) Unless accidently pushed again. My wifes leg must keep pushing it whilst she is riding it. Nice photo of your DLI. I have the 04 DL (Carb). Love it! Thanks for the reply.
