What about Mobil-1, Fully Synth. 15w50?
I have both a 2002 FLHTCUI, with about 72,000 miles and a 2003 VRSCA with about 19,000 miles, It's time for the Spring oil change, which takes about 9 quarts for both. NAPA automotive has the Nascar 15w50, Mobil-1 F/S on sale for $5.79 qt., I add 20% Lucas Oil Stabilizer at each oil change in the Electra and 5% in the V-Rod. I normally use Mobil-1 V-Twin 20w50 @ $9.99 per Qt. I have read and been told that there is no functional difference between the Automotive high-grade performance F/S oil and the more expensive V-Twin specific oil, but I am not sure. I am looking for a professional experienced opinion, not sales hype. Can anyone give me good, practical educated advice? I have no money to waste!

I have always used Lucas Oil Stabilizer in my Kenworths's Cummins, my Yanmar diesel tractor and my various motorcycles. I have used the gear crank lubrication simulator that Lucas provides their dealers that illustrates the difference adding 20% Lucas Oil Stabilizer to One's oil, and it really seems to make an observable difference in the oil's ability to adhere and lubricate the gears. Am I just a victim of sale's hype? I don't know.
