Yes, the Valvoline 75-145 has a "limited slip" additive, but I tried it on the advice of an old Harley Tech & really didn't care about the additive. In my 17 year old machine (only 14k miles), it worked great, the shifting became noticeably smoother.
Also, I park my bike in the driveway & let it cool down & go out later to bring it in the garage (wife is sensitive to smell). I usually go out barefoot & can now find neutral with ease, every time.
Those old techs know a lot of good stuff about bikes, not something I would have thought of myself.

Why is nobody mentioning the redline motor oil for the secondary or the primary?
Why is nobody mentio ing the redline motor oil for the secondary or the primary?
TC,
Now that Harley is not longer selling their primary fluid what you going with? You going to use their new stuff or switch over to a regular motor oil. Did my other two fluids ( Mobil 1 15-50) Crank and (Mobil 75-90) Tranny. Still up in the air on the primary.
Could not find any HD primary fluid at dealer. Local stores also did not have any of the listed items used by members here. Would standard Mobil 10w- 40 be a good choice?
Or should I stick with a syn like Mobil 1 15-50.

Penrith oil
I've got a 2008 fxd dyna super glide. I've been wondering about using Penrite oils for Engine ,primary and transmission. Any one else use Penrite oils?

In the primary I just use atf with Lucas additive. Works great and is quiet. 9/10 engine oil isn't right for a wet clutch system. My clutch always slipped with engine oil. Slippage is no Mas with atf now.

I just had a shop do a 107 build on my 14 SG , my run out was .005 and he won't build with that much run out so the crank had to come out , I asked him to look over my compensator while it was apart , he asked if I had recently replaced it cause it had vary little wear . Nope had 35K on it and looked great , been running Spectro HD chaincase oil since the 1st change I did around 3K , proof enough for me. Also run their 6 speed gear oil in the trans.

Fluids
I use regular gear oil in my trans and primary. Synthetic in my motor. No issues. I also started using that A1 ventilator and I definitely noticed a difference.
