Cool Oil Press. Gauge

I mounted a gauge to my rocker box on the 05 WG,I have been leaking the liquid (glycerin) from it and tried to seal the plug. Well this didn't work now my gauge is toast. Any ideas on how to get the new gauge to not leak I know press. is not a must but I like it

I think you can refill them, I've had different oil pressure gauges over the years and they all wound up leaking sooner or later.
Correct me if I'm wrong but all I thought the fluid did was to help steady the gauge and help with vibration.
I bought a Jerzee http://www.jerzeecustoms.com/GaugesOilProducts.htm oil pressure gauge for my slim and so far it hasn't leaked, but the quality of the Jerzee oil pressure gauge is a heck of a lot better than the ones I have had in the past.
This is the one I got for the Slim with the Midnight Black face.

I've got the Jerzees too. Nice gauge. And yes, the glycol is there to dampen vibration.

They'll work without the fluid in there. I have an Autometer on mine in the Jerzee's housing.

Mine has been working with out but today headed home I stopped for gas and noticed it was pegged. The other side of the zero post, took off line and started it up and got oil so my gauge is f@#$%.Guess I'll keep an eye out for another (good) gauge

Glycol is there to #1.Dampen the vibrations and#2.Keep the gauge from freezing, contracting, and breaking/warping during the winter.
