Sacrament and ALL surrounding areas. To Fort Bragg Ca.
April 18th (sat) we are leaving the Greater Sacramento Area and heading to Fort Bragg. Its my understanding that this is a beautiful ride and the beaches of Fort Bragg are even better. ALL ARE WELCOME to join if so desired. We (my wife and I on my SGS) are riding with a few others and will spend the night in Fort Bragg and then back the next day.
Any suggestions on where to ride when there? Surrounding areas? Thanks!

Basically 2 main ways get there.... Hwy 20 off 101 or Hwy 128 from north bay. If stay night go in one out the other. Glass beach In F Bragg cool. North Coast brewery in Bragg good and good food. Anderson brewery on the 128 real good also. In a community called Booneville. I would say just don't go north on 1 from Bragg.... Bad twisty with lane crossers narrow road. South is beautiful.

If you like tight twisties, north of Ft. Bragg to Legget is good. If you don't like the tight stuff its bad.
South of Ft. Bragg, Pt Arena wharf is good to sit up on the deck with a cold one and watch the ocean. Food good there too.
In the town of Mendocino, Dicks place, friendly local crowd. Say Hi to my daughter, Hannah. She manages the bar.
Pattersons in Mendo also good food and bar.
The ride on 128 between Hwy 101 and the Coast is one of my favorite rides. Two lane blacktop thru wine country, hills, Boonville, and then the Redwoods to the Coast. Can't beat it.
The beach in the town of Elk is great and the one at the mouth of the Navarro River are both worth stopping for.
I lived there for 20 yrs. Let me know if you need any other info.
