Let's meet in Winthrop Aug 23rd to the 25th, explore the night life and get a good ride in between. We could hit Birdsview Brewing co near Concrete on Saturday, that's 112 miles from Winthrop over the North Cascades hwy. You can stay in a hotel for 2 nights, or there are several campsites nearby. If we did that we'd need to get an early start so that we can get reservations. B.T.W. there's plenty of good lodging, food and beer in Winthrop.

still would like a camp fire ...not a forest fire. yes its about the heat for me but its some feedback anyway. a couple of weeks earlier would work better for me, but I'll be there .

I haven't stayed in Winthrop before but I was looking at the River Run Inn or the Duck Brand Hotel Mark. I'd be game for splitting a room with someone.

 

Hey guys, I'd be up for a trip to the Cascades. I was threatening to come back this year anyhow, will probably RV down with the wife and bike in the toy hauler.

 

Why Winthrop. Make it more centrally located. Say like Packwood, WA.

 

We've got 8 riders with reservations in Winthrop for Aug 23rd and 24th, mostly camping. There is a lot of conversation about this on Face Book. If you'd like to participate in the private HDF group, friend Jeff Linde and I can add you.

 

Too bad, this is too far out of the way for me that weekend. I have to prepare for the new school year around that date. Maybe if it was a lot more centrally located than My wife and I could attend.

 

The last four years have been in Goldendale, it was time for new scenery. Sorry you won't be able to make it.
