1964 Engine leaking oil at engine sprocket
I took my 1964 Panhead apart to have the frame painted. I removed the engine but did not disasemble it othere than removing the engine sprocket (actualy pulley). I have started to reassemble the bike. When I got the wheels back under it I put it on the kick stand and oil started leaking out of the engine behind the pulley. I removed the pulley again and can't see anything wrong. Per the manual there is no real seal there, only the "sprocket shaft spacer" and although old, it apears to be OK. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.
Thanks

jryder. Look in your 1959 to 1969 Electra Glide Duo Glide Service Manual. (The Bible) You do have one of those? On page 3E-2 Look at Figure 3E-2. Crankcase-Exploded View. #7 is Sprocket shaft bearing nut. They make this nut with a seal in it. If you do not have one. This is what you need.
