That is way cool. Whatever became of the bike?

 

my 49 model on the day I bought it; June 75. Was home on leave in the Navy. Paid $1200 and still have it.

Pic of my 49EL I have been working on to get back to stock condition for something like almost 15 years...

 

black lowers...correct for 49. I see a Linkert (you don't like the brass body?) and a cutout. I left my cutout on for looks,(with some dummy wires) but converted mine to 12 volts with an Electric Franks regulator.

Hi all!

Just traded my 2000 Fatboy for this 1965 Electra Glide Police Special. Sadly I'll have to wait until next summer before I do any riding, as winter is coming in my part of the woods...

Quality time in the shed will be spent though

 

"Do anything"? Just asking but what is there to "do"? Looks like a sweet ride just as it is.
