Default Scratch on paint coverup

Any suggestions on ways of covering a 1 inch scratch on my tank without having the hole tank painted. The scratch looks and feel too deep to be rubbed out.

bring it to a local body shop chances are they can fill, paint, and blend... tank removal is so easy though man may just be easier (and cheaper) to pull the tank and bring that in

There are local chip repair companies that claim to be able to match and fix them.

Is it down to metal...?? If not, any paint shop can fix you up.
