Default powdercoat help

Hi. Ready to black out my breakout but havent had much to do with powdercoating and had a few questions. Items being done will be primary, belt guard, fender struts, triple trees, risers, levers and maybe a few ive missed.

1. Does the primary require special powder coating for high temps?

2. Will the standard harley brKe and clutch levers be suitable to be coated or rather anodised?

3. Any opinions on getting all this black chromed?

4. What do you do with your bolt
heads
Thanks

1. No, you'll be fine with any TGIC powder. Ask your coater what he uses, TGIC is what the majority of coaters use.
2. You can coat any of the metal parts you describe. You might see wear like dulling of the paint on levers where your fingers touch the paint.
3. Nope
4. Use chrome hot toppers, the contrast is dazzling. If you want black you can use black hot toppers or paint the hardware with liquid black paint. After you tighten the hardware you can touch up the wrench marks with a brush.
My 2 cents....

Like the other member said, if it is METAL it can be powder coated. Everything you see in orange other than the original tins has been powder coated!

I'm new to the forum and HD but have been powdercoating for a while her in Colorado on rock crawlers. In general the rule of thumb in the offroad world is that just about everything can be PC'd with the exception of the headers. This translates to HD in the way that exhaust tips can be done but the rest should be done using a different process such as ceracoat.
