Fading Anodizing

Fading Anodizing
Anybody else having issues with black anodizing fading to a dark purple color?
I'v got lots of the Harley "Burst" parts on my Street Glide, and some are becoming disscolored, yet some are still a nice gloss black.
Is there any way to bring back the gloss black to these faded parts? It's a little strange, as all of these parts are approximately the same age.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm curious also, i have some Arlen Ness deep cut boards that have a hint of purple to them. Contacted Ness and pretty much told me its from UV damage. Options they offered was to get them powdercoated or reanodized. They wouldn't take care of either since they are over a year old. Kinda dissapointed, but whatever
