Default Painting Transmission

I Got a 2009 Street Bob. All blacked out except the Transmission. Thought about getting it powdered coated but dont want to tear down everything this close to riding season. Thinking about getting high temp mat black paint and do it up that way. i dont have a spray gun or anything like that, has anyone done it with the rattle can treatment? i got a summit racing store near me thought about just buying the paint there.

Totally doable!

I painted my motor with VHT wrinkle black paint when I had it out of the frame last year. Prep is a major key though! Make sure you clean, clean and clean some more to remove dirt, dust, grease, oil etc.

One can did what you see here.
