Powdercoat Rockerbox Covers

Powdercoat Rockerbox Covers
I've been talking with a powdercoater who says he can match Harley's black cherry in powdercoat. I'm thinking about having my rockerbox covers powdercoated to match my bike color.
Has anyone done this? If so, can you post pictures? Also if anyone has seen this done, I'd be interested in any input.

i have the same powder that he is talking about... did alot of my parts on my bike but they are def not the same as HD black cherry at all... has much more of a purple to it, and WAY more flake... in the shade it looks stop on, in the sun not at all... never the less it is a good looking powder, i did my battery and fuse box in it, a few engine cases, and have a set of switch housing controls... i have since torn my bike all the way down for a rebuild... i still have the switch housing covers in black cherry if you want them? $40 shipped and they are yours. you can see the color in person then! ha ha ha
if you need pics PM me i think i have a few of when the bike was black cherry.

front fender and battery box is coated in black cherry... tough to tell in pics i know.. but it is about a 85% match... i would bet it is Powder Buy the Pounds black cherry... they all say it is spot on, but i do coating and own a black cherry harley, it is not... but good enough to be honest for rockers! i just think with only the rockers done it would look weird... i would say do your lower rocker in it so that there is a strip going though and the upper in black... then you can later do your inner primary and top trans case, derby cover and points cover... will tie it in nicely
