I just did the same, I called Tim yesterday. He said they had just finished mine and were being sent in a day or two. They must be busy cause the last few times I sent things in, it was a week turn around. This time its been 2 weeks. But they do a nice job!!
Give Tim a try 847 636 3552

A few weeks ago I took a head light trim ring to a local powder coater that was recommended by a local HD dealer. I had it back the day after I dropped it off. It was put right back in the plastic that it comes in from the dealer. My mistake was to not look at it right away. Got home later that day. It wasn't the same black as HD. The plastic scratched the hell out of it. The finish didn't look even. There was what looked like hair and dirt in it. Good thing it was only a trim right and a $20 lesson.

Yesterday my g/f and I went down by Tim. Nice guy. Showed us how the process works. I had a general idea but now I have a better understanding.

I had the trim ring stripped of the other powder and prepped. Wasn't prepped the first go around. First thing I noticed that the parts were wrapped nicely in bubble wrap. Not just laying there or thrown back in some plastic. The finish is even and it looks great. Not a scratch. And even the inside of the trim was done this time. Tim will be getting all my parts or anything else that might need to be powder coated. They will be doing my forks and sprocket this winter.

I would recommend for anything you need powder coated.

I went and picked up my parts from Tim this week. Look great. I also had a pulley done. Looks fantastic. If you don't want to spend the money on a new pulley and don't like the look of the stock one, this is a great way to go. I had to done to sell it. If the new one I ordered wasn't in already I would be putting on my bike. (off a 15 Slim if you are interested)

I'm getting my stuff tomorrow, via the brown truck. Should be great again also, thanks to Joe and Tim. Waited longer than I thought, but had sum xtra work dun and a few pieces re-dun, due to an AZZ clown who did my forks the first time. Live and learn.

FFeric, I should split the gas $ wit ya, seems we r both on the same schedule for sending in parts. LOL

I might be going again towards spring. Plowing brings mod money so it all depends on that. The g/f likes road trips so we hit a couple dealers down there. I will let you know when I go next time.
