Thanks! little bit of elbow grease goes a long way with the rattle can paint.
+1 on that! I had some minor damage to the tank and fender. Found the Duplicolor match to the corvette bright red on the frame and rear fender. Used a white etching primer, wet sanded smooth to 600 grit. Three coats of red, wet sanded to 1250 grit then glaze. Polished glaze then three coats of Plastikote gas resistant engine clear.
Thanks to the volitile weather we've had here in East Texas,I still have to finish buff the clearcoat. It just don't work when the high or the day is still below freezing.

I did pretty much the same thing. Got some sandable primer/sealer, shot a couple coats, then wet sanded smooth with 600 grit. Shot the Color Match a few coats, then shot clear. Wet sanded the clear with 1500 grit then buffed with rubbing compound then finished with some nice wax. I probably have $100 in materials for front and rear fenders and both bags and lids. Still need to spray the tank.
Heres the final for now (except the tank, it has old paint temporarily). New front and rear fenders and put the bags on...... All rattle can and a ton of elbow grease
And yes, my garage is a complete mess!

That looks pretty damn good. You should post some close ups.
