Default Wheel Powder Coat

I'm thinking of having the stock wheels powder coated black on my Ultra Classic. Having no experience with it, can anyone comment regarding how durable powder coat would be compared to chrome?
Thanks.

I do powder recreationally and for friends, Ill definitely say go with powder if you want something that's anything different. Its cheap and very durable. I did my fatboy rims 4 years ago and they still look new.

I am looking to do the same and a few other parts on my 09 Fat Bob. Not to hijack this thread but any recommended shops in the Pacific NW, Kent WA area?

I've had 2 sets of stock wheels Powder Coated and have been very happy, Dyna beads so no weights on the wheels, easy to clean and no polishing needed
