Lord, as we close out this year, and look back at the altars we have been able to build, to see where You intervened in our lives, where You made differences that were truly tangible, we see altar after altar, time after time, and their number is amazing. This year was hard. I am sure next year will be little different, but You told us, that we will have tribulation in this world, but rejoice, for You have overcome this world, and for that one statement right there Lord, our joy becomes our hope for this new year coming. While we pray for better times, its really the hard times that have made us better, stronger, more faithful, and more trusting on You. I notice, that during our tests, quite often our Teacher, remains quiet. Bur I also know that our Teacher still watches quite closely as the test is being administered. Lord, we pray for those here, who put their faith, hope, and trust in You, for a better, new Year. And even more importantly Lord, we pray for those here, who haven't put their hope, faith, and trust in You, and that this new year, will make that change for some. Lord, all I know is, I could have never made it thru all that I have come thru, without You. And I never want to go through anything else ever again, good or bad, without You. Lord, bless us this new year, and let there be some more peace on earth, than we have ever seen before. In Jesus Name we pray
