2007 six speed flhx, how is this seal removed? Some say that the tranny guts have to be slid out and knock the seal out that way. Some say you can use a seal pick to pull it out. The seal got pushed in another .06 trying to get the race off. Any help will help..

What method did you use, pick, screwdriver, ?

 

If the seal is busted there is a good chance the bearing behind it is busted.

 

I went to PeP Boys and bought a seal pick, worked great. I replaced that seal because it got a little boogerd up removing the Inner Primary Bearing Race. The race drifted inward so I had to use a cut off wheel and a chisel.
