Hello old chap and welcome to HDF, from the UK. It's not easy to comment without more information. It sounds as if your clutch may have failed in some way, or possible something has broken inside the gearbox.
With the engine switched off, can you select each of the gears and feel them engage and move on to the next one? Does the clutch feel OK at the lever? Tell us more.
