Default chain tensioner

Has anyone converted to a different primary chain tensioner yet? What brand do you prefer? Spring or hydrolic?

I like this one:

http://bakerdrivetrain.com/attitude-chain-adjuster

2500+ installed in bikes all over the world, running strong and more going out the door everyday.

I had the stock setup in my 2012 103 UC and changed it out with the Hayden. The stock adjuster kept slipping down and causing a lot of slapping before it would go tight again.

The Hayden just seemed a bit too noisy for me even after a few thousand miles (and a couple re-checks)...almost like the chain was slapping even though the adjuster was installed within Hayden parameters.

So now I have the Baker Attitude that I've run all summer. No perceived noise (slapping) and the N to 1st gear shift as well as all other shifts are positive and solid.

FWIW, I have no connection with HD, Hayden, or Baker...just stating my experience with all three on the same bike. Your results may vary.

Thanks. I like to here from people who have tried different components for the same application. Too many people chime in just to raise their post count.

I use the stock one, but welded it. If I need to tighten it. I just grind the weld and reweld simple fix and cheap.
