primary chaincase cover leakage
I've got a little bit of oil leakage on my '92 flhtcu primairy chaincase cover. Would replacing of the cover gasket be sufficiant or is it recommended to also replace the oil seals of the base part of the primairy case?

Get the underside of the primary covers as clean as you can, when the leak re appears, see if there is a trail of lube coming from higher up on the cover.
Also, you need to be sure it is actually coming from the primary, and not the transmission.
One way to do that is drain the primary and refill with automatic transmission fluid. You will then know for sure if the primary is leaking by the color of the oil on the floor...

Do the cover first.
I would replace the outer cover gasket and derby cover gaskets first. For the cover gasket harley makes a reusable paper one with a rubber inlay. works great. I would do this first to see if that resolves the leak because any other seal replacement requires the removal of the primary drive and possibly trans pulley, lots of work.....
