Default Dry Dyna tranny.

I took my Lowrider to the shop to have the BDL repaired. I also had the motor oil and transmission fluid replaced. When leaving the shop I made it about twenty miles then it started whining in fourth and fifth gear. I thought it was the bdl that I had repaired. I returned it to the shop which was an additional twenty miles. Long story short there was no fluid in my transmission and the whining came from there. I have filled the ttransmission and have driven it for twenty miles or so. What do you think? Screwed up transmission? Or dodged a bullet? By the was... The shop never admitted
To the error so I'm on my own. Chap

That's one of the many reasons that I do my own service.

Time will tell if there's much damage, but I'll guarantee you that it got VERY hot and that aint good.

Any noise from it now? Heat is a big factor usually the first thing to go is the cage bearings under the gears because they are plastic cages.

Default Second That....

Be a real pain in the A$$ and demand a rebuild. I imagine the only damage would be to the bearings. The gears can withstand a lot..Stand out front every day and tell you story. They owe you for their stupidity......

How can they not admit to the error under the circumstances you described....had tranny fluid changed, left shop and returned right away with empty tranny!! Hold them accountable
