Default Please Help - Clutch slipping since engine build

Ok guys... I have a 2007 Ultra

In Dec 2013/Jan 2014 I had the engine built... It's a 96>103 with p/p heads, 570 cams and true duals and the heavy duty diaphragm spring. Bike dyno'd at 110whp/116wtq. I should not be having the issues that I am at that hp/tq but here they are. I have had a HORRIBLE time with the clutch. I have adjusted and adjusted then bought and installed a Barnett CF extra plate package. Adjusted and adjusted and adjusted... clutch still slips. Ok I threw a bit of a tantrum and bought a Barnett Scorpion billet clutch assy. I had the local dealer install it. Yesterday was the first day that I had a chance to ride since picking the bike up post install, weather and work. I ride with Bikers Against Child Abuse.. we had about 300 miles yesterday of doing what we do. At the beginning the bike pulled like a freight train. Honestly better than I think it ever has. Close to the end of the day, I had to bail out of the pack... The bike will barely pull itself due to the clutch slipping. Fortunately we weren't too far from my house. This is my first Harley. I'm getting very close to it being my last. Someone please give me a hand on what to do about this or what the possible issues may be. Thanks in advance

Don

Take it back to the shop and/or get in touch with Barnett.

Just because it was installed at a shop, doesn't mean it was installed correctly and adjusted properly.

I called Barnett. They suspect the clutch was installed incorrectly, ie the "B" ring. I think that is what it is called. The very first friction plate. I called the Harley dealer... They are picking the bike up at 1400 today.

Update from the HD dealer.. This issue was with the clutch cable. The springs I have in the Scorpion package are causing the cable to collapse when you pull the clutch. New Barnett braided stainless cable inbound. This should solve the issue. Good news is that the clutch isn't smoked after babying the bike home on Sunday.
