Hey guys I'm new to this forum and just recently bought my first Harley. 07 sportster 883 with 7k miles. It had been slightly laid down on the left side. Checked everything out and it looks fine. Just minimum scratches and the derby cover and clutch lever. Road the bike home and while it was on the kickstand i saw a leak. Found out that it was leaking from where the clutch cable screw goes on the derby cover. Figured the o ring was bad so when I went to touch the screw it was loose and I can move it around. Does that part screw onto the derby cover? Should I replace to o ring while I'm at it? How difficult is it? Was planning on buying a service manual but I just go the motorcycle and wanted to get it done now and I don't want to start a job which I have never done before. Thanks in advance!
