Message to all Revtech tranny owners...

It's time to buy a transmission for my chop construction.. Are those Revtech transmissions as bad as they say?? What kind of problems are most common? Have they worked out the "quirks" yet? Anyone have one lock up? And are they worth the $1,000 bucks...
