Grinding clutch

Default Grinding clutch

My 2001Heritage clutch grinds when I put it in 1st gear standing still. I have tried adjusting the cable but it doesnt seem to make a difference

Try this ..... with engine running and transmission in neutral .....
Do you hear this grinding sound with the clutch lever left out? If so, does it go away when you pull the clutch lever in?

If I start the bike in gear it wants to creep forward. If I start in neutral, it grinds before going into 1st

You must adjust the clutch and the cable, not just the cable.
