Default Another Clutch Question

Ok-have an '11 Superglide still in basement-up on a lift-decided to swap out for better cables-changed out the clutch cable-finally got the ring back in the case and back together-made an adjustment to the cable. Ok-Tried shifting-engine off-can get 1st-neutral & 2nd-wont go up any farther. Dont know if this was the case before I changed the cable-or did i mess something up in the clutch case?

thanks

The bike has to be moving, the transmission shafts have to be turning to shift through the gears. You can get the rear wheel off the ground and spin it while shifting to double check it if you want.
