I've got a 99 fatboy that I purchased with a suicide clutch and tank shift. After riding it for awhile I feel like this setup isn't going to work for me. I was given all the stock parts to switch it back except I was told the shift rod was shortened. To me it just looks like they adjusted the end on the shift rod all the way in so no threads are visible.
My question is what is the length of an oem shift rod for a 99 fatboy and what is the length from end to end with it fully/properly adjusted? Thanks
