Slipping 6th gear after cams
Just installed Andrews 48h cams, rods and new tappets on my 07 deuce. Took her for a shake down pass on the highway and loved the power. The problem arose in 6th at about 90. When I would give her has the rpms would shoot up and it was apparent the clutch was slipping. It does not slip under any form of acceleration in any other gear. Could this be a adjustment issue or a sign of something more serious with the clutch or 6th gear itself? I never noticed it previously, I also have not changed anything but the motor oil some the cam swap. The dealer told me when I bought the bike used the fluids were changed. She is 30k on her now and I am uncertain about wether the clutch pack has been replaced previously. Any suggestions?
