New Power train Install Started
Ok So as noted in a prior post I have upgraded my primary to a Baker Bully. Truthfully exterior pictures don't do this piece justice. A work of fine machine work. Today the Baker Hydraulic side cover DD7-106B showed up. The end game will see my 2007 Road glide get a power train upgrade.
Since I am already running the DD7 and have been for years the gearcase is all set. But the current Hydraulic actuator and Primo Rivera Pro Clutch (stock Hub) have never actuated cleanly. So time to go the full monty.
I will be submitting photos and updates as I go but when done will be placing a Baker Hydraulic Side cover, Evolution Industries 200ft/lb clutch package complete, reusing my baker attitude adjuster and replacing my current SE (2014) version compensator with the new Baker Comp setup. Baker hi torque bearing.
For those who have never used or handled a baker part do yourself a favor and try one. It will not be your last.
Here is the just arrived side cover.
Build details to follow.
