Pulling in neutral

Pulling in neutral
Hey guys.
I am the recent owner of a 2011HD FXS ( softail blackline).
I have extended cables for my bars on it and since then I've had some issues that may be clutch related.
Seems like the obvious answer is out of adjustment, but here goes:
When the bike gets hot, I can hold the clutch lever all the way in and the bike will still pull forward. In addition to that, trying to find neutral at temperature is impossible. Once the bike is turned off, however, it goes into neutral- no issue.
Once in serious riding and heat in SD, I pulled over to wait for a friend and not only could I not get the bike into neutral, but the shifter refused to move out of first.
None of these issues really occur when the bike is just running, it's generally only when it gets hot.
Fluid change? Clutch adjustment? Something else?
Thanks for any advice.
