Default Dd6 & 124"

Will there be any issues running a DD6 in a 124" build?

I would use our OD6 with a 124 we only rate the DD6 up to 130 foot pounds of torque especially if you are an aggressive rider. The DD6 is our smooth quiet touring trans where the OD6 is straight cut gears with 4 degree under cut on the dog teeth and capable of handling 165 foot pounds of torque.

I have the DD6 installed right now because I was told that the OD6 would have been unnecessary when I spoke with a tech at Baker. This was based on riding style and the 107" engine I was going to have built.

Unfortunately, the 107" didn't last 2000 miles - engine builder did a crap job - and now it is being replaced with a S&S 124" Hot Set Up Kit.

Unless arrangements can be made to swap out a slightly used DD6 (less than 2000 miles) for a OD6, I am out of luck

Normal riding it will be fine, I wouldn't run it on a drag strip though.
