Default Leaking clutch cable

Hey all, I've got a 03 Road King Classic with just over 15k miles. I have a stainless cables and recently i noticed oil spatter all over my horn cover, primary, exhaust and bag after a long road trip. Closer inspection revealed oil leaking under the dust boot on the clutch cable. I have no idea if the whole cables bad or if there's an o-ring that needs replacing? I'm not exactly sure how you take it apart to look for the issue either. I'd like to try and fix this myself, but I'm afraid I may have to bring it in. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

There should be an o-ring where the cable goes into the transmission side cover.

Check if the tranny is over filled, also the adjustment part of the cable should be vertical. A bad/missing o-ring would leak at the transmission cover were the cable enters.

On my Softail, long while back when it had a maintenance on it, the dealer must have dumped a lot of oil when doing the filter. He cleaned up but failed to get the oil out of the extra cover like shield on cable. It gave the impression it was leaking at the transmission for quite a while. I slid it fwd a little and discovered the wind was pushing it back. Little liquid detergent poured into it and a little spray from water hose finally flushed it out.
