99 Dyna. Just put this trans back together and testing it out by spinning shaft by hand it locks up in 1st and 2nd gear, 3-5 are fine. I took it back apart inspected all the gears and snap rings all are in correct place. Put back together as per manual same thing. I've done these many times before but never had this happen. Has anyone run into this before?

 

Double check the shifter pawl adjustment.

 

Just double checked pawl, it was just a hair off but it didn't change anything. I went to put the sprocket on and had very little threads. Found the main drive gear wasn't all the way in. Works great now!
