Trying to remove clutch basket but when I put tool between the gears to hold it so i can take off the nut, the gears stay put but clutch basket turns any way. The brake wont hold the wheel from turning. What am i doing wrong. I know its a reverse thread.

I put a block of wood between the chain & the clutch & also between the chain & the front sprocket, bites in real good. You could also try an impact on the clutch, sometimes that helps.

Still doesnt work. The chain and sprocket doesnt move but the nut still spins. I have it in first gear. Now what?

Got it off. Now do I have to take the 4 bolts and 2 allen bolts off to take the clutch pack off?
