My dealer is planning to install an S&S Electronic Speedometer Calibrator to correct the speedometer/odometer reading on my 1995 Sportster. A new old stock speedometer replacement speedometer was installed and after checking with the Harley tech folks it appears that an 883 speedometer was installed rather than 1200 speedometer even though the part number was for a 1200. (A nationwide dealer search showed no 1995 Sportster speedometers available.)

Is this a good product to accomplish what needs to be done? The bike will be on a dyno to get the settings correct.
