Turn up the radio, I like that one. I figured it was clutch drag. Just kinda annoying. For what it's worth I'm using formula + in the primary and Spectro 6 speed in the gear box.

Just had my 91 evo in the shop for a 5000 miles service. They replaced the transmission sprocket with the wider upgrade kit. Now I have much more clunk upon shifting from N to first. Not sure if it's the change in the fluid, new parts or poor clutch adjustment causing it.

Do the clutch starting under the derby cover with 3/4 back off from zero play. Be sure to screw in in two to three turns past no play to deburr thread and then the back off. Then, make sure your lever only has about 1/32 free play with the cable length adjuster. What is a 'transmission sprocket with the wider upgrade kit'??

I think it's just the front drive belt sproket. I guess they were to thin from the factory and would strip the spline they mount on. Listed as transmission sproket 32 on the invoice.

When I was running the Hayden M6, I never had the clunk of shame.
