Default Who knows difference between 07-09 and 10-up touring transmissions?

(next few lines will be my bitching about ebay seller, no reading necessary, read last red lines)
I called ebay seller "AZ cycle parts" from Phoenix and they said 08 transmission will fit my 13 Road King. I bought it at 5pm on Friday, but cancelled about 1 hour later, because transmission case part number for 07-09 transmissions is different from 10-up.(mine is 13)
They have 42000 feedbacks, so I am sure they knew about difference.
I called at 9am on Saturday to verify cancellation and idiot manager Mark wanted 20% restocking fee! What? It never left your shelf!!!!
On top of that he is going to ship it to me in spite of my cancellation!!!
It looks like I'll get this transmission and maybe it will fit my bike
.
I got part numbers from here:
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....-ROAD-KING-(FH)

So any super smart guys here? Will 08 touring transmission fit my 13? Is there difference between 08 and 13 transmission cases beside part number?
Thanks!

The frame changed in 2009 and I think the way the engine is bolted to it changed as well. Not sure if it affected the transmission mount or not.

08 will work the only real difference is the 5th gear is straight cut and the 2010 and later is helical cut. So 5th in the 08 trans will be noisier.

The tranny case should have changed in 09 but the overall dimensions are the same. The difference is that the 07/08 case and 09 up is that they bored 2 holes in the rear of the case for the exhaust hanger. You will have drill and tap holes if using a 2-1-2..
