Default I broke it

Need some ideas. I don't remember if it was while putting on or taking off the primary cover, but a small piece of the primary itself broke off. It's not enough to where the inside is exposed, but it is on the bottom (of course) and nothing there to hold a bolt in.
It dripped a little and I knew I couldn't ride it forever like that, but spring is here and well, you know what happens when a gasket starts to leak... it spreads.
My primary fluid is on the garage floor.
Any cheap ideas to correct this ... um.. problem?

We don`t know the model.
We don`t know the year.
We dont know if you broke the inner primary cover, or the outer primary cover.

Other than that, we have all the information we need to give you an answer...

Agreed! But, depending on the location, severity and exposed edges, you may be able to cold weld a fix as well. Of course a sure fire way to fix it is to just replace the gasket and broken part, works every time.....

Might I suggest you simply stop breaking so much stuff?

LOL Wish was the case. Would have at least some control. Gradually redoing cpl older ones. Can't control PO mishaps and strange work arounds.
