Default Clutch Hub removal

Hello All,
I am trying to remove my clutch hub. My manual says to use a tool called a "grabbit" to hold the clutch hub while I loosen the clutch hub nut. I cannot find this tool anywhere. Anyone know where to get one or what an alternative is? I cant get a strap wrench on it.

Peace Out,
Matt

I use a custom made old screwdriver handle that I have ground down to fit in between the chain and the engine sprocket and wedge in there to stop it from turning. Works great. That nut is left hand threads also. JMHO,YMMV, etc.

You don't say what year/model you have, but atleast the older types have a lock washer that you must bend the tabs down before loosening the nut. It's much easier if you have an impact wrench, just don't turn it the wrong way. LEFT HAND THREADS.
If the trans is in the bike, just put it in high gear and set the rear brake to lock the clutch.

Sorry,
80 Sportster. Left hand thread, so lefty tighty, righty loosy? Do you know of any other left hand thread issues I need to be aware of.

Thanx,
Matt

Also, I have the clutch out (all that is left is the hub and the basket) and I believe the bike is in neutral. Can I get the bike into a high gear buy shifting the level with some vise grips? I cannot "engage" the clutch lever.
So if I can do what I described and get it into gear, hold the rear brake and hit the left hand clutch nut with an impact wrench it should come loose? Right now the clutch hub spins freely.
I appreciate your help.

Not being familiar with the sporty clutch I am not sure if you can get at the nut with the clutch assembled. The BDL clutch I have, if you remove just the adjustment screw and washer you can get at the nut and the clutch is still under pressure.
You need help from a Sporty type.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
